2006 State Scholarships
NC FOP Foundation,
Inc. Awards Scholarship for 2005-2006 
The Foundation Board, at their meeting in August 2005 voted and approved three scholarships. The recipients of the 2005-2006 Scholarship:
William Chase Davis is a full-time student at Louisburg College working towards his bachelor's degree. Chase's father is Daniel Allen Davis who retired on disability from the Durham Police Department.
Benjamin Edward Somerville, Jr. is a full-time student at East Carolina University working towards his bachelor's degree. Benjamin's father is Benjamin Edward Somerville Sr., who retired on disability from the Charlotte Police Department.
The third recipient has decided not to attend college at this time and returned the scholarship to the Foundation.
It is always a pleasure to announce academic successes for the Foundation.
Lesley Faith Dover of Charlotte graduated from East Carolina University in May 2005. Faith, who received three Foundation scholarships during her four years at ECU, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication. We congratulate Faith on her academic achievements and wish her the best in her future.
Scholarship applications will be available in the Spring of 2007 for the academic year 2007-2008.
